Invitation to Tender ("ITT")

Once you have surveyed the marketplace and identified suppliers that appear to have a solution for your needs, you should invite four or five to submit formal tenders for the supply of a solution.

Suppliers should be asked to tender against a Statement of User Requirements.

The ITT should contain the following information:

	the tendering rules
	the format in which the tender must be submitted
	the number of copies
	the address that tenders should be sent
	instructions for packaging the tender
	the evaluation criteria
	a summary of the tendering timetable
