4-CONSULTING E-ZINE

Many thanks to all our readers who keep giving us encouraging feedback on our e-zines.  In this issue we look at an issue of growing importance to businesses and we also focus on an enduring issue which continues to be at the top of the management agenda.

With new legislation on recycling and disposing of electrical equipment, we think that IT departments need to look at what they have to do to reduce environmental impacts and the organisation's carbon footprint.

We've been busy over the last six months or so helping some of our clients with large-scale transformation projects and we thought we'd share some of our experiences and ideas for successful change programmes.

We hope you’ll find them of interest.  Our directors have experience in many areas of management in both the public and private sectors, so if there is a topic you would like us to cover in a future issue, please let us know.

Please feel free to forward this e-zine to a colleague.

We look at other steps that IT managers can take to reduce carbon emissions and improve their organisation's environmental impact and save money at the same time.

Tell us your view

In our last e-Zine, we asked your views on whether private equity funds were good for the UK economy.  Our readers voted strongly against that view.

We hope that you will take a moment to answer the following question:

The recent resignation of the Liberal Democrat leader was said to driven by a sense of ageism in the UK media.  Some UK legislation has been passed to try to eradicate ageism in the work-place.

Do you think that ageism is prevalent in the workplace?

Answer our question and let us know – all responses are confidential.
