4-consulting director, Sandy Pratt,
led a consultancy team in an assignment to assist the large UK High-Street fashion
retailer, Internaçionale/Au Naturale in developing an IT strategy.
The strategy covered warehouse management, logistics, EPOS, e-commerce, in-store stock management, retail analysis, store replenishment and all financial information systems. The assignment also involved procurement of replacement systems involving a capital spend of over £1.15 million. In a subsequent project, 4-consulting developed a spreadsheet budgeting systems that consolidated store-level budgets up to a consolidated group budget.
In another project, 4-consulting
director, Fiona Ballantyne, assisted a national fashion retailer suffering from an ageing customer
group and a range of garments that were perceived to be un-stylish and poor quality by younger customers. Through customer research,
the company was helped to identify and target a younger target
market. Store interiors were redesigned to appeal to the new target group, and
a clothing range was developed that met customers' expectations in terms of style and fashion appeal.
